About
We sell a small number of machines, and we know what each one is for
A narrow catalogue is a deliberate choice. Breadth is easy to buy and impossible to support.
Cavendish Dental Supply supplies benchtop equipment to dental laboratories in the United States. We work with a short list of manufacturers and we carry a short list of machines — currently four benches worth. That is not modesty about our ambitions; it is the only way a small team can answer a specification question properly instead of forwarding a brochure.
How we specify
Most bad equipment purchases are not the result of buying a bad machine. They are the result of buying a machine specified against a wish list rather than against a workload. A blasting cabinet rated for occasional divesting will do fine for a month in a lab running forty frameworks a week, and then it will not.
So the first question we ask is what you produce and in what volume, and the second is what the current bottleneck actually is. Sometimes the answer is that the machine you were about to buy is not the constraint.
What we will not tell you
We do not make regulatory claims on this site. U.S. regulatory status varies by device class and by intended use, and it is not something to summarise in a product bullet. Where a device you are considering has a status that affects your purchase, we will confirm it in writing for that specific item before we accept an order.
We also do not publish clinical or performance claims for equipment. Specifications, dimensions, power requirements and materials — those we will state precisely. Outcomes depend on your workflow, and any vendor who tells you otherwise is selling something.
Where things stand
This catalogue is being built out. The product records currently shown are sample data used to establish the ordering flow, and each one is labelled as such on its page. If you need something you do not see here, that is exactly the kind of enquiry worth sending — write to us and we will tell you honestly whether we can source it.
