Shipping and lead times

Lead times

Lead time is quoted per line item at the time of order, and it is confirmed in writing before the order is released. We do not publish a single blended figure on product pages, because units on different lead times should not be hidden behind an average that is wrong for both of them.

Freight

Benchtop equipment ships on a pallet via LTL freight. Freight is quoted separately from the equipment price and is not included in the checkout total. We do this because a single freight figure baked into a product price is either padded for the worst case or wrong for the long haul.

• Delivery appointment. LTL carriers call ahead. Someone needs to be available to receive and sign.
• Lift-gate. If your dock cannot take a pallet at truck-bed height, say so on the order — retro-fitting a lift-gate after dispatch costs more than pricing it in.
• Inside delivery is a separate service and is not assumed. Kerbside is the default.

Inspection and damage

Inspect the crate before you sign. If there is visible damage, note it on the delivery receipt before signing — a clean signature on a damaged shipment transfers the claim to you, and no carrier will reverse that afterwards.

Report concealed damage to us within five business days of delivery with photographs of the crate and the packaging as received. We file the carrier claim; you do not have to.

Electrical and site requirements

Voltage and supply requirements are listed on every product page. Confirm your bench circuit before the crate lands. Several units in this catalogue draw enough that a shared 15 A circuit will trip under load even though the machine is nominally within rating.

Destinations

We ship to commercial addresses within the fifty United States and the District of Columbia. We do not currently deliver to residential addresses, and we do not handle export documentation. For Alaska and Hawaii, freight is quoted case by case.
