Why this unit
A benchtop unit for conditioning titanium abutments and small cast components before cementation or veneering. Treatment time and intensity are set on the front panel; the working cup lifts out for loading and drains into a collection vessel rather than into the cabinet.
The reason this is a dedicated machine rather than a step at the sandblaster is contamination. Titanium surfaces that will carry a bonded interface should not be processed in the same cabinet as chrome-cobalt grinding dust, and a separate enclosed unit is the simplest way to guarantee that.
Cast-iron base and enclosed motor housing keep the unit stable at speed without bolting it down.
