Why this unit
A bench press for trial-closing and final-closing denture flasks, supplied under the manufacturer’s hydraulic press designation. What you can see in the photographs: a twin-arm hand wheel turning a central threaded screw, running between two hardened guide columns, over a circular platen.
The guide columns are the part that matters. A press that racks under load closes unevenly, and an uneven close is what leaves you with an increased vertical dimension you only find at insertion. Two columns either side of the screw keep the platen parallel through the stroke.
Green Up and red Down buttons sit on the front of the cast base. The manufacturer’s own parameter sheet and its product name disagree about whether platen travel is powered or purely manual, so we do not state it here — the drive arrangement, working pressure, platen dimensions, flask capacity and supply are all confirmed against the actual factory build on your quotation.
